As part of my Performance Design MA at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, I worked across set, costume and opera, developing a design practice rooted in texture, material exploration and transformation.

The three productions below reflect how I approach a brief: starting from a play's central themes and finding a tactile visual language that can carry them, whether that means fragmenting a world into something characters must navigate, or letting colour and texture chart an emotional journey.

Each project below began with a question about atmosphere and meaning. These questions shaped the concept work, the collaborations with directors and other departments, and the decisions that followed.
